Deep Dope Soul Remembers Eartha Kitt's Birthday Number 94

So it seems several great artists, activists, actors and Icons have/had January Birthdays.
We missed celebrating many of them this year.
Some we will come back on like Betty White and Muhammad Ali.

So we could not let January pass without celebrating (if a little late) the January 17th, 94th birthday of Eartha Kitt.

We still miss the lovely Eartha Kitt who left us on Christmas Day 2008.
Ironically passing on Christmas, Eartha Kitt was known for the definitive recording of the holiday classic Santa Baby.

Eartha Kitt was of course one of three ladies to play Cat Woman to the last Adam West at the height of The Bat Man 1966 fame.

Kitt also made memorable appearances in the film Boomerang and the television shows Living Single and Wonder Pets. She actually won her 3rd day time Emmy for her appearance on Wonder Pets (which aired after she was gone.)
